Exercise Examples:
Exercise #1
No ball or putting cup required. Use the grout-line between floor tiles or the seam between sections of carpet as a reference. Practice a slow and controlled pendulum stroke back and forth trying to keep the laser line directly over the reference. This teaches you to swing without changing the position of the putting surface.
Exercise #2
Tape two pieces of masking tape on the carpet 1/2'' apart. Repeat the pendulum stroke exercise above – keeping the laser line between the two strips of tape.
Exercise #3
Set up three to five feet from the putting cup and assume your normal putting stance. Practice the pendulum swing back and forth – stopping at the finishing point of each stroke. Make sure the laser line is still shining over the putting cup. This exercise is designed to improve your follow-through.
Exercise #4
Place a few golf balls on the carpet three to five feet from the putting cup. Properly focused, the laser line should be visible several feet on each side of the putter head. Use the laser line to aim and sink 3-5 foot putts until you can comfortably make 90% of them. Now try without the laser turned on. You should notice that your intuitive aim improves with practice!
