Ballfinder Scout relies on a unique combination of technologies from digital video cameras to color recognition systems
Ballfinder Scout has put them together in an easy to use hand held device
It is equipped with a high end LCD and colorful LEDs that lead you to the ball’s location.

It can search up to 600 square feet in one second or almost 1/7 of an acre in 10 seconds!
Each of over three million pixels is scanned in nanoseconds and analyzed pixel by pixel using the proprietary Golf ball Locating System technology to look for the unique
color signature found on any standard white golf ball.
WITH AS LITTLE AS 1% - OR ABOUT THREE DIMPLES – visible, the Ballfinder SCOUT can find the ball and guide you to it.

SCANNING METHOD
Hold the Ballfinder Scout™ at arms length. Press and hold green button to turn your
Ballfinder Scout™ on.
Scan SLOWLY from side to side, starting from a yard in front of
your feet and working up. Keep in the area you have lost your ball, using your eyes to
look for the ball as well as searching with the Ballfinder Scout™.
BALL LOCATION NOTIFICATION
The Ballfinder Scout is equipped with a low noise vibration alert. When white is
detected, it will vibrate for the period that the white remains in the frame. As you may
have scanned past that point, slowly reverse the direction of the scan to confirm that
the Ballfinder Scout™ has located a ball and the vibration will become stronger.
You may experience small vibrations which are due to things such as glint or sun glare.
This is normal. You will quickly learn the difference between small miss-hits and the
strong vibration indicating a ball’s location.
Additionally, the Ballfinder Scout™ is equipped with two small blue LED lights on the
front edge. These will flash left if a ball is located slightly to the left of the scan and vice
versa for right. When both lights are on the ball is straight ahead. Move in that
direction and keep looking for the ball with your eyes.
